Pharmacist

Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center (EPFMC) is a quality-focused, federally qualified non-profit community health center dedicated to improving the physical, social, and emotional well-being of people in the communities we serve, regardless of income.

We are currently seeking an energetic and customer service oriented Pharmacist to join our team.  Routine duties include but are not limited to, dispensing prescription drugs to patients, patient consultation and monitoring patients’ health and progress to ensure medications are working effectively and safely.

The successful candidate will be flexible and driven by the opportunity to work in a non-traditional and ever-changing environment.

Clinical duties include but are not limited to:

• Insulin titration
• Disease state management
• Immunizations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience preferably in clinic or non-profit setting
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly desirable
• Must have current California license
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) preferred
• Knowledge of 34B program preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Certified Immunizing Pharmacist
• Flexible schedule (Monday-Saturday; may require some evenings and weekends)
