Los Angeles — April 20, 2011: The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) has named Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center (EPFMC) the winner of its 2011 Healthcare Leadership Award in the community clinic category. The award, presented at an April 20 luncheon at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, recognizes individuals and organizations that have made major strides in helping Los Angeles residents receive superior healthcare efficiently and effectively. EPFMC was one of five finalists in the category. The selection committee was composed of members from the LABJ and healthcare industry leaders.
“We’re honored and very proud to receive the 2011 Healthcare Leadership Award from the L.A. Business Journal,” said Carl Coan, president and chief executive officer of EPFMC. “It highlights what a valuable healthcare resource EPFMC has been to the diverse Los Angeles community for more than 90 years.
